The Department of Home Affairs will now accept a suitable skills assessment for the skilled migration applicant’s nominated occupation that has been obtained within the 60-day invitation period.

GSM skills assessment obtained within a 60-day invitation period will now be accepted.
Skills assessment is needed for points-tested skilled migration visas.
Applicants are encouraged to arrange skills assessment well before submitting EOI, says migration agent.
